Medication Management

How It Works

At Every Rose Psychiatry, Medication Management is a core part of what we do—but it’s not the whole picture. We believe in a collaborative approach that includes therapy, lifestyle changes, and building the skills you need to take control of your symptoms.

Education is at the heart of our process. We’ll walk you through your options, help you choose what feels right, set clear expectations, and be available for support along the way. If medication isn’t for you, there’s never any pressure—we’ll meet you where you are.

While medication isn’t always the full solution, it can be life-changing. Helping people feel like themselves again is why we do what we do.

Your first visit is a comprehensive 60-minute evaluation where we get to know you—your symptoms, history, and what brought you in. You’ll have a safe, private space to share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with.

We typically don’t assign a final diagnosis after one visit, but we’ll discuss our initial impressions and a working diagnosis to guide your care. We’ll review treatment options, including medication, explain the risks and benefits, and answer all your questions. If you choose to move forward, prescriptions are sent electronically after your visit. Providers are available for questions between appointments, though medication changes are made during follow-ups.

Follow-up visits are 30 minutes and focus on how you’re doing—what’s working, what’s not, and any side effects. We’ll adjust your treatment as needed while also checking in on your life, stressors, and progress.

Appointments are typically monthly, but may be spaced out up to every 2–3 months if things are stable. Our goal is to stay connected and support you every step of the way.

TMS Treatment

We’re excited to offer TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) for treatment-resistant depression. TMS is a non-invasive, FDA-approved treatment that uses gentle magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain affected by depression. It’s also being used with growing evidence for anxiety, OCD, and substance use disorders, especially for those who haven’t found relief with medication.

TMS feels like a reset for your brain—no medication, no needles, and no downtime. You relax in a comfortable chair while the treatment works, with no recovery period needed.

Each session takes about 20–30 minutes, making it easy to fit into your day before work, on lunch breaks, or after work. You can drive yourself to and from appointments, and side effects are typically minimal with no known long-term risks.

TMS is often covered by insurance, especially after antidepressant trials. Our team will help verify coverage before starting. For those without coverage, flexible payment plans are available.

Spravato (esketamine) Treatment

Our team here at Every Rose Psychiatry understands that every person is different, which means treatment that works for one person may not work for the next. This is why we are excited to announce that we are now offering SPRAVATO® (esketamine) nasal spray treatment. SPRAVATO® is FDA-approved and is used to help those with treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, anxiety, and other mental health disorders.

SPRATAVO® is covered under most insurance plans. In addition, the manufacturers of SPRAVATO® (Janssen) also offer copay assistance programs that can help cover the cost of office visits in addition to help with cost of the medication.

If you’ve tried at least two different antidepressants and still aren’t getting the results you need, this might be a wonderful treatment option for you. You deserve to live a healthy, happy life, and we’re ready to work with you every step of the way to get you there.
